The Swedish language
Swedish is a Scandinavian language within the Germanic language family. Swedish is the largest language of Scandinavia and has about 9 million native speakers. Swedish is spoken in all of Sweden and it is one of the official languages of Finland. Swedish is the only official language in the autonomous Finnish province of Åland. Just like the related languages of Danish and Norwegian, Swedish has borrowed many words from Germany. Swedes, Norwegians and Danes can understand each other pretty well.
